This program explores how artificial intelligence is evolving from an operational tool to a transformative force, positioning organizations to anticipate and shape the future of business.

 

Participants will learn to align AI technologies with business objectives to drive innovation, streamline operations, and gain a competitive edge. 

 

Topics include identifying high-impact AI use cases, navigating ethical and regulatory challenges, managing AI-related risks, and understanding the role of AI in digital transformation. Through a blend of case studies, applied exercises, and strategic frameworks, participants will develop practical capabilities to design, implement, and manage AI initiatives that create long-term organizational value.

 

Faculty:

Instruction will be provided by a team of three expert faculty members, each bringing unique insights and experience to the program.

Kofi Arhin
Kofi’s research focuses on AI design, information security, ethics in information systems, human-computer interaction, and web technologies. His current work addresses ethical challenges in designing and implementing AI systems. He holds a Ph.D. in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, along with M.Sc. and M.Phil. degrees in Information Systems from GIMPA, and a B.Sc. in Development Planning from the University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana.

Burak Eskici
Burak is a teaching assistant professor in the DATA department at Lehigh University and co-director of the Computer Science and Business program. He teaches computing, data science, and AI across undergraduate and graduate levels. Previously, he worked on digital development at the World Bank and held academic roles at UC San Diego, J-PAL South Asia, and Harvard University. He holds degrees in Industrial Engineering from Boğaziçi University and a Ph.D. in Sociology from Harvard, specializing in computational social science.

Michael Rivera 
Michael is an assistant professor of Business Information Systems at Lehigh University’s College of Business. His research explores real-time feedback, digital transformation, and leadership, with work published in top journals and conferences. He teaches machine learning and AI strategy and has co-founded two tech startups. Dr. Rivera also consults for major firms including Lockheed Martin, Mars Wrigley, Subaru, and American Airlines, bridging academic insight with industry impact.
